As an environmental epidemiologist, I work on several projects related to early life chemical exposures and childhood health outcomes and development. I am trained in cell and molecular biology (with an emphasis on immunotoxicology), environmental health, epidemiology, and biostatistics. I use advanced statistical approaches to better assess and understand the complex mixture of exposures incurred throughout life. I am particularly interested in the intersection of industrial chemical exposures and clinical outcomes, especially among susceptible and vulnerable populations. As a Co-Investigator for the Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Data Analysis Center, I collaborate on several multi-cohort studies evaluating the impact of early life environmental chemical exposures on child health. Also, as a Co-Director of the Global Environmental Sustainability and Health (GESH) MPH concentration, I am dedicated to educating and mentoring our students as well as providing the foundation and skills for success after graduation.
