Jooyoung Lee

Jooyoung Lee was born in Seoul, South Korea, in 1966. He received the B.S. degree from Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, in 1991, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electric engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He joined Samsung Electronics, Hwaseong, South Korea, in 1991, where he had successfully led the DRAM Process Architecture Team as the Vice President in 2013 and the Technology Development Team as the Senior Vice President in 2018. His leadership through various backgrounds, including device technology and process integration enhances overall completeness of Samsung DRAM products. Since 2020, he has been leading the DRAM product and technology with the Memory Division, Samsung Electronics. His current research interests include high-speed low-power architecture and design technology for next-generation memory solutions.
