Jong Tae Kim

Jong Tae Kim (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electronics engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, Suwon, South Korea, in 1982, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California at Irvine, Irvine, CA, USA, in 1987 and 1992, respectively. From 1991 to 1993, he was with The Aerospace Corporation, El Segundo, CA, USA. He was a full-time Lecturer with Jeonbuk National University, Jeonju, South Korea, from 1993 to 1995. He is a Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Sungkyunkwan University, where he has been since 1995. His research interests include sensor system, brain-inspired computing and architecture, embedded systems, and the IoT.
