Bio
Jon Tobias has conducted comprised laboratory, clinical and epidemiological research programs into the pathogenesis of common musculoskeletal diseases. He have extensive experience in exploring genetic influences on musculoskeletal phenotypes. For example, he has genome-wide association studies (GWASs) identifying novel genetic influences on bone thickness measured by peripheral quantitative computer tomography, bone mineral density measured by whole body dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) scans, and hip shape obtained from hip DXA scans.
