Bio
John van Leeuwen is a member of the Centre for Water Managment and Reuse (CWMR), Leader of the Water and Wastewater Treatment Group of CWMR, Associate member Barbara Hardy Institute, Adjunct Professor State Key Laboratory for Environmental Aquatic Chemistry. His current research projects include; ARC Linkage LP110200208: Impact of natural organic matter and nutrients on water quality: Identification of catchment sources and attenuation processes. ARC Linkage LP110100459: Multi-scale Strategy to Manage Chloramine Decay and Nitrification in Water Distribution Systems. Modelling of chlorine decay in blended waters of the Adelaide Desalination Plant and Happy Valley WTP. (SA Water Funded). Feasibility of mathematical-based process DBP Predictive Modelling. ARC Linkage LP100100616: Materials Engineering Solutions for Tomorrow's Water Resources. ARC Linkage P100100481. Development and Modelling of Advanced Coagulation and Oxidation Processes.
