John Larsen

John Larsen’s research examines sociocultural and experiential aspects of wellbeing, health and illness, particularly in the areas of mental health and alcohol harm prevention. His work applies qualitative and participatory methodologies informed by anthropological inquiry, and aims to improve the effectiveness of interventions. He has led explorative insight research, impact studies and academic collaboration in UK charities, and he is Associate Editor of the Mental Health Review Journal.
