CrossTrac Engineering, Inc. has completed work on two Phase I SBIR's with NASA:
"Innovative X-ray Star Scanner for Spin Stabilized Microsatellites": An effort to develop an attitude sensor for spin-stabilized spacecraft with arcminute level performance using observations of X-ray stars. The final report was submitted in August, 2011 and we are continuing work on the XSS concept. We have received interest from other professionals in the field.
"Milli-arcsecond X-ray Star Camera": An effort to develop a ground-breaking attitude sensor for spacecraft with milli-arcsecond performance (100x better than existing technology). The final report was submitted in September, 2012.
At CrossTrac Engineering, our focus has been on the planning, management, development and test of high value scientific instruments and systems serving organizations in the aerospace, medical research and semiconductor test equipment industries. These projects cross multiple engineering disciplines, requiring a diverse background and systems engineering experience.
We continue to provide services in the analysis and design of attitude control systems, systems engineering and mission design for small spacecraft and the design and analysis of feedback control systems.
Services include:
Initial benchtop or analytical validation of a new technology or concept
Creation of technology development plans and schedules
Program management
Systems engineering
Mechanical design (Solidworks)
Control System Analysis and Design
Software development
Specialties: Program management
Systems engineering
Mechanical design
Control System Analysis and Design
