His research is currently focused on charisma, predictors of leadership, and research methods as applied to experimental and nonexperimental research; he has published on a variety of topics in industrial and organizational psychology like personality, intelligence, social cognition, among others. Professor Antonakis is Editor in Chief of The Leadership Quarterly. He is a fellow of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology as well as the Association for Psychological Science and an elected member of the Society for Organizational Behavior.
