个人简介
Johannes Trabert received the Dipl.Ing. (M.S.E.E.) and Dr.Ing. (Ph.D.) degrees in electrical engineering and information technologies from the Ilmenau University of Technology, Germany, in 2003 and 2010, respectively. From 2003 to 2012, he has been with the Institute for Information Technology as a Scientific Staff Member, developing highly integrated millimeter-wave ceramic multichip modules for satellite communications that successfully achieved on-orbit verification. During his research leave at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, CA, USA, from 2011 to 2012, he worked with the Submillimeter Wave Advanced Technology Group on THz imaging radar systems. He is currently the Initiator, the Co-Founder, and the Technology Lead of MetraLabs GmbH, Germany, which creates autonomous mobile robots—e.g., TORY for fully automated RFID-based inventory taking and localization of tagged items. He has authored or coauthored more than 40 articles. His research has led to several patents. His research interests include RF and microwave antenna engineering, RF identification, radar, locating and navigation techniques, data fusion of multimodal sensors, wireless communication, and test and measurement systems. He was awarded the prestigious Carl-Zeiss Postdoctoral Research Grant.
