个人简介
Joao Ricardo Lavoie received the B.S. degree in industrial engineering from Unicep, Sao Carlos, Brazil, in 2008, and the graduate degree in energy policy and management, the M.Eng. degree in engineering management, and the Ph.D. degree in technology management from Portland State University, Portland, OR, USA, in 2016 and 2019, respectively.
Before starting his Ph.D. studies, he was an Industrial Engineer with a manufacturer of drilling tools and equipment for the mining industry in Brazil. From September 2014 to June 2018, he was a Research Assistant with Dr. T. Daim's research group, working with the Bonneville Power Administration Technology Innovation Group, developing technology management tools and frameworks. He was also an Associate Executive Director with the Portland International Center for the Management of Engineering and Technology. He is currently with the Platform Strategy Group, Daimler Trucks North America, Portland, OR, USA. His research interests include technology and innovation management, specifically technology transfer, technology roadmapping, and technology readiness levels.
Dr. Lavoie is a Member of the Phi Kappa Phi and the Omega Rho Honor Societies.
