Bio

His research interests are concerned with new materials, namely FRP advanced composites, GFRP profiles and structural glass, building pathology and rehabilitation. He received the IABSE Prize 2012, awarded by the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering, and the 2016 IIFC Distinguished Young Researcher Award, attributed by the International Association for FRP in Construction (IIFC).
