Joël Sudre received the Ph.D. degree in physical oceanography from Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse, France, in 2013. He is currently a French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) Engineer with the Complex Coupled Systems (SYSCO2) Team, Laboratoire d’Etudes en Géophysique et Océanographie Spatiales, Toulouse. He is also a Technical Representative with the National Institute for Earth Sciences and Astronomy/CNRS and the French Ocean Data Information and Service, Toulouse. He has authored or coauthored 39 publications in international peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include physical and dynamical oceanography, image processing for oceanographic studies, and in situ and satellite ocean observing systems.
