个人简介
Present research work is focused on exploring Raman Tweezers for evaluating the various disorders related to blood components.My expertise include, design and development of biosensors, based on optical techniques such as surface plasmon resonance (SPR), surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS), for applications including biomarker detection, pathogen detection etc. In addition, real time monitoring of antigen-antibody interaction is also being investigated. Self-assembled monolayer (SAM) formation on metal surfaces (silver, gold) and surface functionalization using biomolecules are also areas of interest. Contact angle measurements, Raman spectroscopy are characterization techniques used to confirm the presence of immobilized biomolecules on the metal surfaces. The approach followed predominantly considers the sensitivity, cost effectiveness of the developed system, in order to compete with commercially available ones. Also includes exploring the spectroscopic techniques for breath analysis.
