My research interests focus on symmetric-key cryptography, especially cryptanalysis, design and implementation of (lightweight) hash functions, block ciphers, authenticated encryption schemes, and their applications such as message authentication codes. As such, I lead the Cryptanalysis Taskforce research team at NTU, publish papers, give talks, and also actively serve the community. My team and I have won several open competitions on cryptanalysis on various symmetric-key cryptography standards.
