Biography
Dr. Jessica Feinleib has a strong interest in airway management education, encompassing bio-mechanical and cognitive skills. Currently she is actively involved with airway training through simulation and skills workshops both within and outside of the VA. She is the lead subject matter expert for the Difficult Airway Algorithm and Rescue Cricothyrotomy (DAARC) program. This is a novel airway education program utilizing video, podcasts and gaming platforms to maintain difficult airway management skills in senior practitioners. It was initiated by the national VHA SimLEARN and VHA EES project for the 150 VA hospital system. Additionally, she is active in the use of in-situ simulation for systems based approaches to improve patient safety.
