Bio
Jenq-Yang Chang received the B.S. degree in chemical engineering and the M.S. degree in materials sciences and engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C., and the Ph.D. degree in materials sciences and engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, in 1980, 1985, and 1992, respectively.
He is currently a Professor at the Institute of Optical Sciences, National Central University, Jhongli, Taiwan, R.O.C., and is also the Director of the Institute. His research fields of specialty include nanooptics and fabrication, microoptical elements and system, optical MEMS, crystal growth, as well as devices and characterization of nonlinear photorefractive materials.
Dr. Chang is a member of SPIE.
