Bio
Jennifer Rayno (S'98–M'13) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering with a minor in computer science from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT, USA, in 2001, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from San Diego State University, San Diego, CA, USA, in 2012. She is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu, HI, USA.
In 2012, she joined the Hawaii Center for Advanced Communications (HCAC), College of Engineering, University of Hawaii at Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii, HI, USA, as a Research Assistant. Her research interests include antenna analysis and design, antenna arrays, metamaterials, computational electromagnetics, and automated synthesis and optimization methods such as genetic programming and genetic algorithm.
Ms. Rayno is a Member of Tau Beta Pi and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies. From 1997 to 2001, she was the recipient of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Engman Scholarship. In 2013, she was the recipient of the Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) Scholarship.
