Bio
Jeffrey R. Chen received the Ph.D. degree in solid state physics from the University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY, USA, in 1996.
He has been working with NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, MD, USA, since 2005, on remote sensing lidars for measurement of atmospheric species as well as for altimetry. Before joining NASA, he worked for various U.S. companies on development of solid state and fiber lasers, as well as other active and passive optical components.
