Bio
Jeffrey D. Black (M'99) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, CO, in 1988 and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, in 1991. He has been working toward the Ph.D. degree at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, since 2008.
He was with the Mission Research Corporation, Albuquerque, NM. Since 2004, he has been with the Institute for Space and Defense Electronics, Vanderbilt University, where he is currently a Senior Research Engineer. His areas of specialty and interest are in single-event effects and mitigation approaches.
