Bio
Jean-Paul Ferrieux was born in 1959. He received the Ph.D. and H.D.R. degrees in electrical engineering from the Grenoble Institute of Technology, Grenoble, France, in 1984 and 1989, respectively.
He is currently a Professor with the IUT1—University Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble. His research activities take place at the Grenoble Electrical Engineering Laboratory (G2Elab) within the Power Electronics Research Group. His major field of interest is power electronics (static converters and resonant converters, passive components). He has authored or coauthored more than 200 technical articles in these areas. He is also coauthor of the power electronics book Switch-Mode Power Supplies, Resonant Converters.
