个人简介
I got my PhD in 1997 at the laboratoire de Spectroscopie Infrarouge et Raman of the University of Lille 1 under the supervision of Professor Francis Wallart. After one year of military obligations as a scientist I became assistant professor at the laboratory of Inorganic Materials in Namur University (Belgium) from January the 12th to August 2002. During this period I have contributed to the study on the adsorption of zeolites work. This study has been initiated by Professor Bao-lian Su, the director of the laboratory. These researches have been led in collaboration with BOC (Murray Hill, NJ, USA) and have given rise to a patent in Imitated States and in Europe. At the same time I have started my studies on porous materials. In September 2002 I have moved from Namur to Nancy. I was assistant professor in physical chemistry in the group ‘’Nano group’’. In september 2006 I became a professor.
Institutional responsibilities, memberships of scientific societies…
- Expert for the AERES, for the French National Research Agency (ANR), for the American department of energy US DOE Basic Energy Sciences (BES).
- 2009-2013 : coordinator of the axis Hybrid and Molecular Materials of the Institute Jean Barriol (FR CNRS 2843). The institute Jean Barriol is a federative structure of the research ministry and of the CNRS. More than 130 researchers and 60 engineers and technicians are together in this institute. They work in the chemistry, in the molecular physics and in the biomolecular domains. The axis Hybrid and Molecular Materials correspond to 30 researchers, 21 PhD students and 10 research contracts.
- 2012-present : Head of the molecular physics and chemistry scientific center of the university of Lorraine.
- 2013-present: Director of the Institute Jean Barriol (> 130 researchers, 60 engineers and technicians)
Experience
* Sep 2006 - Present : Professor in physical chemistry
Université Henri Poincaré-Nancy 1, which became University of Lorraine in Janury 2012
My research concern one of the most important domain dealing with the preparation of inorganic and/or hybrid materials. I Investigate different aspects : the physic-chemistry of interface and of supramolecular assembly which are the stared point not only for the better understanding of the formation mechanism of the new ordered solids but also for the design of new materials having the peculiar features. These compounds have attracted much attention due to their important potential applications in various domains (catalysis, optics and electronic, separative science, biology and bioencapsulation). My research published in journals such as Langmuir, J. Phys. Chem.. Chem. Mater, Micropororous and mesoporous Materials…can be divided in 3 parts : * Mesoporous silica materials, * Preparation and characterization of mesoporous titania, * Immobilization of biomolecule into mesoporous materials.
*Sep 2002 - Aug 2006 : Assistant Professor in physical chemistry (Assistant Professor)
University Henri Poincaré-Nancy 1.
* Jan 1998 - Aug 2002 : Assistant professor (Assistant Professor)
