Bio
I conduct research on complex system modeling, with applications in forest ecology and computational neuroscience. Areas of interest include stochastic processes, multi-objective optimization, data analysis and model validation.
My current work is centered on patch-mosaic models of forest succession, forest dynamics as a function of climatic/edaphic variables, and automated 3D reconstruction and analysis. Previous work involved biologically plausible modeling of the basal ganglia and of the auditory system.
