Bio
Jean Cavillot (Member, IEEE) was born in Arlon, Belgium, in 1994. He received the master’s degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, in 2017 and 2021, respectively.
In 2017, he was working on the design of passive microwave mixers for radar applications at UCLouvain. He started his Ph.D. thesis under the Fonds pour la Formation à la Recherche dans l’Industrie et dans l’Agriculture (FRIA) Grant from the Fonds National de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS) in 2018. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher with UCLouvain, where he continues his research in the areas of finite antenna arrays and metasurfaces.
