At present, I , along with our team, am working on molecular characterization of freshwater fishes of Odisha with particular emphasis on sheatfishes (family: Siluridae) of Odisha. We are also working on morpho-taxonomy, molecular systematics, and understanding the life cycle of the parasitic isopods of the family Cymothoidae found along the Northern part of the East Coast of India, and the Chilika lagoon.
