个人简介
Dr. Jaya Arora, Assistant professor, Department of Botany, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur has been teaching Botany since 2012. She did her M.Sc and Ph.D. in Botany with specialization in plant tissue culture and secondary metabolite production from Mohanlal Sukhadia University. She has been awarded Maharana Fateh Singh Award in 2000 for meritorious performance during her matriculation and Gargi Award and Scholarship for matriculation by Govt. of Rajasthan, India, 2000. She has qualified Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) NET –JRF in 2008. She has 14 years of research experience with one UGC-Start up completed project (2013-2015) of 6.00 Lakhs INR and mentored one Women Scientists Scheme-A project (2016-2019) funded by Ministry of Science and Technology, DST of approximately 18.57 Lakhs INR.
Research group of Dr. Arora has published research papers in various international and national repute journals with high impact factor such as Acta Physiologiae Plantarum, In Vitro Cell Dev Biol – Plant, Bioengineered, Frontiers in Plant Science, Nanomaterials, Biofuels, Biologia Futura, Horticulturae, Plants etc. She has more than 50 presentations in various international and national conferences and awarded 1st best oral and 2nd best poster award. Dr. Arora has edited and authored 5 books including publications with prestigious publishing houses mainly with Springer, Cham. Two Students have been awarded Ph.D. under her supervision and 2 Students are pursuing the same.
