Research interests
Currently, Jason's work has been mainly focused on large multi-subunit transcriptional complexes. He has been implementing recently described mass spectrometry-based techniques to probe protein interactions and stoichiometry of the complexes with the ultimate goal of gaining a structural and mechanistic understanding of the complexes. He is also spearheading blue-sky projects to create human protein microarrays and to engineer targetable epigenetic modifiers using the CRISPR-Cas system.
