My research focuses on the prediction of long-term durability and characterization of early-age volume change of cement-based materials. My team’s multi-scale approach results in transformational research that combines fundamental scientific understanding with the improvement and development of test methods and specifications that enhance concrete performance. I am a recognized expert in concrete durability, alkali-silica reaction, calcium aluminate cements and early-age concrete properties.
