个人简介
My expertise is in motivational learning design; mainly applied in the design of learning resources for healthcare professionals. Students learning to become healthcare professionals have different motivations, expectations and experiences that interact to influence their choices and perceptions of what they are being challenged to learn.
Motivational learning design is an evidence-based approach where the educator systematically applies theories of motivation to influence how much motivation to learn, the students actually experience! There are different motivational design models however, since applying Keller’s ARCS-V model back in 2002, I am a strong advocate for this particular model. Check out my bio and you will see some examples of how the ARCS can be applied with evident motivational impact.
