个人简介
My Alma Mater is Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. I achieved a PhD degree in Plasma physics there in 2013, defending the thesis "Investigation of the influence of external conditions on the properties of diffuse coplanar surface barrier discharge (in Czech)".
As the researcher at the Department of Physical Electronics, Masaryk University, I have been involved in many research and educational projects since 2002, which focuses mainly on dielectric barrier discharge diagnostics, development and applications.
My R&D activities are generally focused on fundamental and applied research of plasma sources operated in the gaseous phase and gaseous/liquid mesophases with emphasis on:
• Hi-resolution, phase-resolved optical measurements (1D and 2D imaging spectroscopy) at ms-to-ns-time scales
• Correlation of opto/electrical parameters (collective behaviour of discharges)
• Plasma-liquid and plasma-solid interactions (plasma-activated water, thin-films deposition, powder treatment)
Currently, I am interested in developing and analyzing the CaviPlasma source, the patent-protected device utilizing the synergistic effect of hydrodynamic cavitation and low-temperature electric discharge for water remediation.
In 2018 I achieved an assistant professor position at the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Vocational Education, Masaryk University. Since then, I have been giving lectures on fundamental physical courses (e.g. electricity and magnetism, optics, microparticles physics, solid-state physics).
