Jamie W. Burnside

Jamie W. Burnside received the S.B. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, in 1981 and the M.S. degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1985, both in mechanical engineering. He is a Senior Staff Member with the Control Systems Engineering Group, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Lexington, MA, where he has more than 20 years of experience in control system and stabilization applications. He was the Lead Pointing System Engineer of the Mars Lasercom Terminal and the Lead Engineer of the experiment controller on the GeoLITE laser communication demonstration satellite.
