Bio
James F. C. Windmill (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in magnetic microscopy from the University of Plymouth, Plymouth, U.K., in 1998 and 2002, respectively.
He is a Professor with the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. He has over 20 years of research and development experience in the areas of sensors and hearing systems. His research interests are in the field of biologically inspired acoustic systems, from fundamental biology to various engineering application topics.
