In our group we employ positron annihilation spectroscopy (PAS) for structural characterization of solids. PAS is a unique non-destructive technique with high sensitivity to open volume defects and atomic resolution. Using PAS it is possible to obtain very rich and detailed information about structural imperfections in a broad range of materials.
In addition, we work on development of PAS methodology, namely high-resolution positron-lifetime spectroscopy and digital techniques for precise measurement of positron lifetime and Doppler shift of annihilation gamma rays.
