个人简介
Jacques Nsabimana was born in Rwanda on 05th January 1983. He is married and has two children. He speaks Kinyarwanda (mother tongue), English, French, and a little German.
He was awarded a master degree in Physical Chemistry, field of Electrochemistry in 2015 and a Doctor degree in Chemical Biology, both from College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Xiamen University, China.
His research work focused on the design, fabrication of microsystems and integration with electrochemical analysis. He investigated the applications of digital microfluidic chip in magnetic beads-based electrochemical immunoassay for detection of the antigen of H5N1 virus, analysis of ionisable and redox active drugs using the micro-interface between two immiscible electrolytes solutions (µ-ITIES) supported at the tip of glass capillary and detection of biomolecules released from stimulated adhered cells. He has papers and co-authored papers in the Analyst, ChemElectroChem, Faraday discussions, Microchimica Acta and Chemosensors.
From 2015-2016 and 2021, he was teaching biochemistry courses in Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Gitwe, Rwanda.
He is currently interested in medical related research especially microsystems devices for medical diagnostic applications
