开拓了基于基因组学的种质资源研究领域,建立了发掘新基因的技术体系,发现和创造了抗小麦白粉病等一大批优异新种质;在国际上率先完成了小麦D基因组供体种粗山羊草基因组草图的绘制,标志着我国的小麦基因组研究跨入了世界先进行列,多项研究成果发表在Nature及其子刊上。
