Bio
John Tolle received the B.S. degree in chemistry in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree in science and engineering of materials from Arizona State University, Tempe, in 2003.
He was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Prof. Kouvetakis's Group at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Arizona State University, from September 2003 to August 2006. In September 2006, he co-founded the Silicon Photonics Group, Gilbert, AZ. His current research interests include integration of III–V and group IV semiconductors on silicon substrates and development of Ge, Ge-Sn, and Ge-Si-Sn-based materials.
