I currently work at the Department of Earth, Ocean and Ecological Sciences, University of Liverpool. My main interests are in linking physical processes to ocean biogeochemistry and plankton ecosystems, exchange processes between shelf seas and the open ocean, and nutrient and carbon cycling in shelf seas. Current projects: Upper ocean nutrient mixing driven by internal tides over mid-ocean ridges and seamounts. Nutrient and carbon cycling in shelf seas. Trends in dissolved oxygen in the bottom waters of shallow seas.
