个人简介
His primary faculty appointment is in the Dept. of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. His lab studies the molecular basis of brain disorders and identified the cause of a rare disease (Sturge-Weber syndrome). He authored a textbook, Bioinformatics and Functional Genomics (3rd edition, 2015). Dr. Pevsner has taught on Leonardo da Vinci in the MLA program since 2007. He has published articles on Leonardo’s studies of the brain in The Lancet and other journals, and has been featured as a Leonardo expert on the History Channel and on the Discovery Channel series “Doing DaVinci.” He is the recipient of six teaching awards at Johns Hopkins.
