个人简介
J. Mark Meacham received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University, Ames, IA, USA, in 1999 and 2002, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, in 2006.
From 2008 to 2014, he was a Co-Founder and the CEO of OpenCell Technologies, St. Louis, MO, USA. Since 2014, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science Department, Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis, MO, USA, overseeing the Scalable Integrated MicroSystems Laboratory. His research interests include transport phenomena and microfluidic technologies, with emphasis on acoustic microfluidics, for use in biological, chemical, medical, and energy applications.
Dr. Meacham is currently a member of the ASME. He was a recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, the Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need Fellowship, and the Emerson Excellence in Teaching Award. From 2006 to 2007, he received the National Research Council Post-Doctoral Associateship at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Gaithersburg, MD, USA.
