Jon Willis

Jon Willis is a medical anthropology expert and social epidemiologist, with a strong emphasis on understanding social and cultural responses to disease and the ways that medical interventions and technologies are incorporated into local health cultures. His experience of evaluation work in health promotion is extensive, in Australia and internationally. Much of his work has involved multi-disciplinary teams of researchers, industry partners, and government organisations across Australia. He has worked for many years in the delivery and evaluation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled service delivery.
