Bio
My principal field of investigation is the hydrogeological evolution of continental margins and its influence on the geohazards derived from slope instabilities. The procedure that I use in these types of studies is a multi-disciplinary approach: the characterization of the margin architecture by means of multi-resolution seismic and bathymetry data, the acquisition of in-situ soil samples, the analysis of sediment physical and geotechnical properties, the modeling of the evolution trough time of the margin fluid flow and sediment stability. I have worked in different geological settings as polar margins, volcanic arc, saline influenced margins, and tectonically active margins.
