个人简介
I am an applied controlled-source seismologist with a strong geological background and extensive expertise in potential field methods. I embrace a multidisciplinary research approach to solving Earth science problems at a variety of scales: from lithospheric-scale projects for tectonic studies to upper crustal studies related to resources and shallow processes. My expertise is broad and I have conducted and published studies using the full gamut of controlled-source seismic methods. Using the seismic reflection method, I have processed and interpreted both 2-D and 3-D land datasets as well as 2-D marine datasets. Using the seismic refraction/wide-angle reflection method, I have processed, modelled and interpreted both 2-D land and 2-D marine datasets. Geographically, my published works span western Canada, the North Atlantic conjugate margins and the eastern Mediterranean. To complement my seismic research, I have also published widely on the topic of 2-D modelling and 3-D inversion of gravity data for crustal and basin studies, as well as on the use of deformable plate reconstructions of the rifting evolution of the North Atlantic Ocean.
