She is funded by the NETT Network Statistical and Data Management Center and the NINDS Neuroprotection Exploratory Trials in Parkinson’s Disease (NET-PD) Statistical Center. She has been involved in the design, conduct, and analysis of multi-center, randomized phase II and phase III clinical trials in the areas of Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and emergency medicine. The development of adaptive trial designs, futility designs, measurement validation, and approaches to measuring neuroprotection in Neurology are areas of active research interest.
