Isabelle Schwartz-Cornil

Isabelle Schwartz-Cornil (DVM, PhD) is working at the National Institute for Agriculture Research (INRA) in France. She is head of the “Vaccine, Viruses and Immunopathology” team in the Molecular Virology and Immunology department at INRA in Jouy-en-Josas, near Paris. In the last 20 years, she developed an expertise in the molecular and functional characterization of macrophages and dendritic cell subsets in sheep and pigs, at homeostasis and during viral infections. She recently focused her work on targeting vaccine antigens to dendritic cells for the control of viral infections in animals, including Bluetongue Virus, Influenza, Rift Valley Fever Virus and Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Virus. She has published more than 100 papers cited in WOS. She currently coordinates a European Horizon 2020 project which aims at "Strengthening Animal Production and Health through Immune Response (SAPHIR)".
