Isabel García-Barón

Dr. Isabel García-Barón works on spatial ecological modelling and conservation of marine top predators and mesopelagic species, identification and assessment of anthropogenic pressures on top predators, bycatch assessment and identification of potential marine protected areas. She has participated in more than 10 international and national projects working on marine biodiversity conservation and pelagic species assessment. She also belongs to the group of observers of marine predators and human activities, leading data collection tasks in oceanographic surveys.
