个人简介
His research focuses on the experimental characterization and numerical modelling of thin-ply composite materials. The goal of this research is to develop composite materials with enhanced strength, stiffness and strain-to-failure features. Such materials can be used in aerospace and biomedical applications. Ioannis Katsivalis has worked in different areas of structural mechanics, and he is currently actively involved in COST Action CA18120 and IEA Wind TCP Task 46.
