个人简介
Indranil Misra (Member, IEEE) received the Bachelor of Engineering degree in information technology from the Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior, India, in 2007, and the Master of Science degree in software system from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Pilani, India, in 2013.
Presently, he is working as a Scientist/Engineer at the Space Applications Centre, ISRO, Ahmedabad, India. He has worked for more than 12 years in diverse range of remote-sensing missions and generated enhanced data products using innovative processing techniques. He has been responsible for algorithm design and software solutions development for image processing and computer vision across multiple remote-sensing projects. He has contributed mainly in remote-sensing data processing technique development for multitemporal image registration, multisensor image fusion, and topographic correction models for improving the radiometry of remote-sensing images. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles in national/international conferences and journals.
Mr. Misra received the ISRO Young Scientist Award in 2015 and the Best Paper Award in national symposium organized by the Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS) in 2018. He received the Gold Medal for the Bachelor of Engineering degree.
