My research interest and expertise is in the use of objective measures of physical activity, sleep and sedentary behaviour in free-living populations, specifically in rural and peri-urban African populations. Data is collected in the DIMAMO Health and Demographic Surveillance System site (http://saprin.mrc.ac.za/nodes.html).
