Bio
Dr Isobel Ridler is now working as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Division of Psychiatry, UCL with Professor Argyris Stringaris in the AIM (Anxiety, self-Image and Mood) Lab. Here, she is currently looking at the underlying mechanisms of momentary mood changes. She recently completed a PhD (funded by the NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre) in the Department of Biostatistics and Health Informatics and the Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Centre at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), KCL, where she was investigating the application of statistical learning and structural equation models to behavioural/psychiatric genetics and psychometrics. This followed her position as a research assistant investigating treatment-resistant schizophrenia in the Department of Psychological Medicine, IoPPN, KCL. Her research interests are mental health and biostatistics.
