Unal-Cevik Isin

Professor Isin Unal-Cevik MD, Ph.D. is a Neurologist, Neuroscientist, Pain and Headache Specialist in the Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Neurology, Ankara, Turkey. She completed her medical education, neurology residency, and neuroscience Ph.D. programs at Hacettepe University. She worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in Harvard Medical School Massachusetts General Hospital and later completed her “Pain Medicine” clinical fellowship program in Harvard Medical School, MGH, Boston, USA. She has an ECFMG certificate. Professor Unal-Cevik has received bursaries and awards from USA and Turkey for her research activities on pain and neurology. She has participated in many international multicenter clinical trials on stroke, headache, and neuropathic pain. Her publications have been accepted for inclusion in peer-reviewed journals, in neurology, neuroscience, and pain fields. She has been serving as a reviewer in many SCI and SCI-expanded journals. Professor Unal-Cevik maintains active clinical research and educational neurology and pain programs, with interests centered on neuropathic pain and headaches. In addition to her clinical duties, Professor Unal-Cevik speaks regularly at regional and international congresses, symposiums, conferences, and educational-health-related TV and interactive online programs.
