Bio
Africa Flores-Anderson is a Research Scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), a PhD candidate and Vanier Scholar at McGill University and a National Geographic Explorer. She works at SERVIR, a joint initiative between NASA and USAID and oversees the SERVIR Global LCLUC & Ecosystems portfolio. She was selected as one of 11 changemakers, the only one from Latin America, by National Geographic and Microsoft Earth through their AI for Earth Innovation program in 2019.
